Trivium Weeks
Four times a year, your school week takes on a whole new look. During a Trivium Week, you’ll learn beyond the usual classes: you’ll go on field trips, collaborate on projects, meet people from outside the school, and discover what you’re good at. Each Trivium Week has its own theme. And during every Trivium Week, you’ll have a Trivium conversation with your mentor and your parent(s) or guardian(s). Learning with courage means discovering and doing!
- Four times a year
- A different theme every week
- A Trivium Discussion
Learning Outside the Classroom
A good education is more than just learning in the classroom. During the Trivium Weeks, you learn through experience. You go on field trips—exploring the neighborhood and visiting businesses—you complete internships, participate in sports and cultural activities, and meet guest speakers. You’ll work on projects together with students and teachers from different subjects. This is how we connect the school with you, your parent(s)/guardian(s), the neighborhood, and the world.
Four weeks, four themes
Each Trivium Week has its own theme.
Trivium Week 1: Art & Culture
You'll be introduced to art, music, theater, and other cultures, and you'll get to be creative yourself.
Trivium Week 2: Me & the World
Who are you, and how do you relate to others and society?
Trivium Week 3: Future & Career
You'll discover what kinds of careers are out there and which ones are right for you.
Trivium Week 4: Trivium in Action
You show what you're capable of and get involved in your school, your neighborhood, or the world.
Developing Trivium Skills
During the Trivium Weeks, you’ll work on our four core values: ownership, courage, trust, and collaboration. You’ll take the lead, dare to try new things, learn to trust in your abilities, and work together with others.
The Trivium Discussion
During each Trivium week, you’ll have a Trivium discussion. Together with your mentor and your parent(s)/guardian(s), you’ll reflect on what you’ve learned, what went well, and what you’d like to work on. Together, you’ll set new goals for the coming period. You’ll share how things are going. This way, you’ll gain more and more control over your own development.
